There was a time when I felt like I was at the top of my dreams. Then it all came crumbling down.
A chronic illness took over, and I just couldn’t seem to get better. Most days, I couldn’t get out of bed. I had more symptoms than I knew what to do with, and no doctor could tell me what was happening. At the same time, I was raising my son, who was then nonverbal and autistic.
I had survived rape and abuse in my past, but I thought I had already moved beyond that trauma. I had gone to counseling. I had tried psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and EMDR. I kept asking myself, What else could I do?
I was raised in a Christian home, where I was taught to have faith for healing. My whole family prayed for me, and I read my Bible, yet I still felt like a deeper connection was missing. I didn’t understand it then, but the emotions and pain we carry can become like a brick wall around the heart: a “heart wall” that keeps us from feeling fully connected, healing emotionally, and experiencing the relationships and wholeness God intends for us.
When people say the body keeps the score, they aren’t joking. After reaching a point where I wanted to give up, I tried an Emotion Code and Body Code session. For me, it felt like a big kick to that brick wall around my heart. It began to come down, and what followed felt like a complete transformation. I felt free. The knot I had been holding in my gut was gone. I knew there was something to this, and that is why you’re here reading this page now.
Maybe you’ve tried everything else. Maybe you’ve lost your spark, wanted to give up, or started believing nothing will change. I don’t believe God intends for you to stay stuck there. I believe you can feel alive again, experience true joy, and find your spark. If this is where you are, I understand, and I want to help. Book a session. Try it, and see what can happen.
